To me, there’s no greater joy than getting a group together and riffing up a story. Imagining characters, creating scenes, laughing over gags, and building a world from scratch. The images evoked by these stories light a fire under me to translate them to ink; bringing them to life in a storyboard and having a good time doing it is what I’m all about.

Animation influences that stick with me are Looney Tunes, Spongebob, Samurai Champloo, Ralph Bakshi, and Tristan Zammit.

Comedy is my second passion. The ones who will never get old are The Marx Brothers, Monty Python, Chris Farley, and Steven Seagal.

Music, specifically 90’s Hip Hop, is my third. Among my favorites are Pete Rock and CL Smooth, Gang Starr, and J Dilla. The gritty sound and personality resonate with me as it captures inner-city life.

My dream is to produce a show that introduces kids to aspects of the world they don’t learn in school; emotional intelligence, empathy, and thinking for yourself, among many more.
